The Founder and CEO of Zeenoh Games Jhondie Tito Abenaza (JTA) was chosen by the Game Developers Association of the Philippines (GDAP) to represent the game development industry of the country in the creation of the council for Product Development and Design Center of the Philippines (PDDCP.)
PDDCP or Senate Bill No. 3071, co-authored by Sen. Teofisto Guingona III and Sen. Manuel Villar, aims to develop and promote Filipino designs to develop the competitiveness of the country’s products.
In a statement released by the Senate, Sen. Guingona said that the function of the PDDCP is vital in improving peoples’ lives.
"Design fuses art, culture, business, science and technology towards the paramount goal of solving problems, which in turn leads to improving the quality of human life," Sen. Guingona said.
PDDCP organized events, where GDAP sent JTA as representative, this January to further enhance the member’s capability through series of talk and workshops.
The PDDCP is under the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI.) Other members of the council are United Architects of the Philippines, European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines and other local government units (LGUs.)
